Intro to Centered Riding Clinic

  • Special Equestrians 2800 Street Road Warrington, PA, 18976 (map)

Centered Riding is based on a knowledge of human and horse anatomy, balance, movement, and understanding how the mind influences the body and how both affect the horse. It uses centering and grounding techniques from the oriental martial arts, along with body awareness, mental imagery and sports psychology. Stephanie Barberra teaches riders of all ages and abilities how to communicate better with the horse through the principles of Centered Riding, in which she holds a Level III certification. In addition, she teaches at Delaware Valley University and for area United States Pony Clubs. She has a master’s degree in the Science of Teaching and Learning allowing her to quickly recognize different learning styles and adapt her teaching methods to best suit the student.

This clinic is open to the public, and no Centered Riding experience is required. Limited space is available, please reserve your space today.
